Initial cabin crew training
95 hours of learning. Skills you can put into practice.
The EAC initial programme combines 64 hours of theory and 31 hours of practical training, followed by the required examination. The published programme is normally organised over approximately three weeks; some sessions are spread over four weeks. Your selected session and confirmed timetable determine the calendar dates.
Europe Air Crew is approved by Transport Malta as CCTO 0010. The programme follows the European cabin crew training framework in Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011, Part-CC.
The nine training areas
- General theoretical knowledge: aviation terminology, the aircraft environment and the safety responsibilities of cabin crew.
- Communication: clear communication between crew members and with passengers.
- Crew Resource Management: teamwork, awareness and decision-making.
- Passenger handling and cabin surveillance: safe cabin operations and passenger needs.
- First aid: medical aspects and practical response to onboard situations.
- Dangerous goods: recognising risks and following the applicable procedures.
- Aviation security: awareness of security responsibilities.
- Fire and smoke: equipment familiarisation and practical exercises.
- Survival: emergency survival procedures, including water-survival training.
Theory, practice and assessment
Theoretical learning provides the foundation for practical exercises. First-aid scenarios, fire and smoke exercises and water-survival practice help you work through the situations covered by the programme. Access to EAC’s online training platform supports preparation where included in the selected course.
Successful completion of the required training and examination is necessary for issue of a Cabin Crew Attestation. Attendance, assessment arrangements and the timetable are explained during enrolment.
English + CCA: the combined six-week pathway
The combined programme published by EAC brings together three weeks of English preparation, with 90 lessons, and three weeks of CCA training, followed by the CCA examination. It was developed with Alpha School in Malta and includes a Linguaskill assessment in the published package.
The published entry level is B1 and the English learning objective is B2; an individual result depends on your starting level and progress. Confirm the next available package and its precise inclusions with the team.

Before you book
Your selected session and written quotation confirm the training dates, location, language, fee and inclusions. Ask for the applicable training agreement and cancellation conditions before making a payment.
Accommodation is not included in any course fee, including English and combined English + CCA courses. Travel, meals and living expenses are also separate. Request an itemised quotation before booking.
