What the CCA certifies
A Cabin Crew Attestation confirms that you have successfully completed the initial training and examination required by the European cabin crew framework. Training must be delivered by an organisation approved for that purpose. The attestation uses the prescribed EASA Form 142 format.
Europe Air Crew is listed by Transport Malta as an approved Cabin Crew Training Organisation, CCTO 0010.

EASA explains that a compliant attestation issued in an EU or EASA Member State is recognised across EU Member States without a further assessment of the attestation itself. This recognition is separate from an airline’s recruitment criteria, work-authorisation requirements and operator training.

Validity and time away from flying
The CCA is issued for an unlimited duration, subject to the applicable validity conditions. It ceases to be valid if suspended or revoked, or if its holder has not exercised the associated privileges on at least one aircraft type during the preceding 60 months.
If you have been away from cabin crew duties, ask the training team and competent authority to review your circumstances before choosing a course. Previous training must not be assumed to restore an invalid attestation.

What happens after initial training?
A CCA is one part of preparing to work as cabin crew. Airlines assess applicants separately and require the relevant medical fitness, administrative checks and training for their operations.
After recruitment, aircraft-type and operator conversion training cover the specific aircraft, equipment and procedures you will use. The initial CCA does not replace this training or guarantee a job.

What is a Cabin Crew Attestation?
A Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) is the qualification awarded after successful completion of the required initial cabin crew training and examination. Airlines may require further operator-specific training.
