What is accelerated CCA course ?
CCA is a lifetime certificate, unless you didn’t fly with a commercial airline for more than 5 years.
In this case, you will have to pass an examination again.
However, if you have worked as a cabin crew for at least one year, you will be able to enrol this accelerated 6-days training course including the examination.
This accelerated course is also available to experienced cabin crew who have worked for a commercial airline in a third ICAO country for at least one year and are still active as cabin crew.
Accepted cases
Experienced cabin crew who worked with a commercial airline in a third country ICAO member state for at least 1 year and are still actively operating as cabin crew
or experienced cabin crew in commercial operations however have not operated in commercial operations for less than 60 months with a minimum of 1-year continuous flying as a cabin crew member
Not accepted cases
Any experienced flight attendant or cabin service agent (private jet)
Even for experienced cabin crew who have worked with a commercial airline in a third country that is not an ICAO member state
Cabin crew experienced in commercial operations, but who have not operated in commercial operations for more than 60 months.
Procedure to determine on a case-by-case basis if the experienced cabin crew has an adequate level of knowledge to follow the accelerated course:
- In order to verify the veracity of the career as a cabin crew, the candidate will be asked for any form of proof, such as work contract, roaster, signed certificates, etc…
- In order to check the candidate’s general knowledge, a theoretical test on the training covered subjects will be taken in the form of a MCQ of 20 questions on https://test.europeaircrew.com. A minimum score of 50% will allow the trainee enrollment.
E learning preparation
Although the programme is slightly different from the above, there is also a short face to face course for trainees who have completed a controlled online training course before attending a 6-days in our classrooms.
We call this the Prepared Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA).
